Pakistan continues to maintain, enhance cooperation with Turkmenistan under ECO framework: Khawaja.

ISLAMABAD -- Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Wednesday said Pakistan continued to maintain and further enhance cooperation with Turkmenistan within the framework of ECO and other Regional and International organisations.

Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Atadjan Movlamov met with the Defence Minister here at the Ministry and the focus of the meeting was to look into ways to enhance and strengthen mutual cooperation in the field of defence between two countries, said a news release.

Khawaja further reiterated that the memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Defence cooperation (2015) between the two countries should be implemented in its true letter and spirit.
