ISLAMABAD -- Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan is committed to mitigate impacts of climate change by cleaning up the environment.

He was virtually addressing the Climate Ambition Summit to mark the fifth anniversary of the signing of the landmark Paris Agreement. The Prime Minister in his address assured the world that Pakistan will be doing its best to make its contribution to mitigate the effects of climate change.

He vowed to scrap its coal based power projects, produce 60 per cent clean energy through renewable resources and run 30 percent of its vehicles on electricity by the year 2030.
