Pakistan Army airlifts 22 students from snow-hit Astore village: ISPR.

ISLAMABAD -- Pakistan Army rescue teams Monday evacuated 22 students of Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), who were stranded in Rattu village of Astore district, after heavy snowfall there.

'(As many as) 22 students from LUMS rescued by Pak Army from snow hit Rattu to Rawalpindi,' according to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The students had gone for the skiing in Astore where they remained stuck up for the last five days due to heavy snow and landslides.
