Pakistan and Azerbaijan reiterate mutual support for each other's national causes.

DAVOS -- Pakistan and Azerbaijan have reiterated mutual support for each other's national causes and resolved to further deepen bilateral relations in all fields.

The understanding came at a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Davos. The two sides agreed to maintain frequent bilateral exchanges including at the highest level.

The Prime Minister appreciated Azerbaijan's valuable contributions including as member of the OIC Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated Pakistan's support to Azerbaijan on the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh.

President Aliyev expressed gratitude for Pakistan's consistent support on Nagorno Karabakh issue.

Imran Khan briefed President Aliyev on the grave and systematic human rights violations in occupied Kashmir as well as the devastating impact of the Indian government's unilateral and illegal actions of 5th August. President Aliyev invited Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile Prime Minister Imran Khan has offered one of the world's largest enterprise software companies: System, Applications and Product (SAP) to establish software labs in Pakistan for software engineering.
