PA questions security agencies' performance.

LAHORE -- A special session of the Punjab Assembly on Friday passed a resolution to protest the attack on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in Wazirabad, on Thursday while he was leading a long march there.

The resolution proposed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Raja Basharat questioned [the performance of] security agencies after the PTI chairman and other party leaders were injured in the attack, while a worker was killed.

It stated that the house expresses its profound sorrow over the worker's martyrdom and firmly demands harsh punishment under applicable laws against individuals named in the PTI chairman's speech.
