Over 9 mln population restricted under 549 targeted lockdowns: NCOC.

ISLAMABAD -- National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) Monday said around 549 smart or targeted lockdowns were imposed across the country in all the provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) where 9,093,818 people were restricted in the lockdown areas.

According to the NCOC, in Punjab around 184 targeted lockdowns were imposed in various districts where around 2 million population was restricted.

In Sindh, as many as 68 locations in different districts were under smart lockdown where 4,951,000 people were restricted.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 232 smart lockdowns were imposed in various districts where 534,110 people were restricted.
