Over 800 domestic workers registered in ongoing drive: police.

ISLAMABAD -- The capital police's campaign for the registration of employees and tenants is in full swing, a police public relations officer said on Sunday.

He said during the 'Knock the door' campaign, teams were going to streets and door-to-door to ensure the registration of tenants and domestic workers.

'In this regard, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has registered 805 employees of 597 houses in the Shalimar police jurisdiction. The purpose of the campaign is to avoid any untoward incident by maintaining law and order in the federal capital. The registration of tenants and domestic workers will keep a close watch on miscreants,' he said.
