Orthopaedic surgeons to present papers at international conference this week.

ISLAMABAD -- Orthopaedic surgeons, from across the globe, will gather in the capital during the current week to attend the International Pak Orthocon Conference being held from Jan 12 to 15.

The event is being organised by Pakistan Orthopaedic Association (POA) under the theme 'Innovations-Shaping the Future of Orthopaedic Surgery'.

Media coordinator of the conference Dr Asfandyar Khan, while talking to Dawn, said 20 foreigners and over 80 Pakistanis would present their papers during the conference.

'Apart from holding elections of the POA, a number of training courses will be offered at the expense of POA so that graduates get the opportunity to do specialisation in a number of fields,' he said, adding that Pakistan...
