Orientation for fresh students at UHE.

LAHORE -- The University of Home Economics (UHE) organised an orientation programme for the newly-enrolled students in the Fall 2022 semester on Monday.

UHE vice chancellor Prof Dr Kanwal Ameen was present as chief guest.

In her speech, Ms Ameen said: 'You came here with a dream to achieve success. Our commitment is to turn your dreams into reality and the teachers will devote their abilities to serve you for the next four years. This day is very significant for newly-admitted students. You got the chance for studying higher education and keep remembering those millions of women who don't have such an opportunity to get into university education.'

Ms Ameen said 10 new degree programmes were started and a vibrant faculty hired to teach, guide and help students.

She said a full-time student counsellor was appointed and she would also be available to address the mental health issues and challenges of the students.
