Orientation day for MBBS/BDS students held at DUHS.

KARACHI -- The MBBS/BDS classes at Dow University of Health Sciences will begin from the January 6, 2020. Addressing the Orientation Class in this regard, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Saeed Quraishy urged the students to focus on education with diligence and dedication and take part in extracurricular activities along with the curriculum as we aim to make you a good doctor and a better person as well.

The orientation was held at Moin Auditorium of Dow Medical College and was attended by the Principal DMC Prof. AmjadSirajMemon, Registrar Dow University of Health Sciences Prof. AmanullahAbbasi, Vice Principal DMC Dr. Shumaila Khalid, senior faculty members, MBBS students and parents. Prof. Mohammed Saeed Qureshi said that Dow University of Health Sciences is the largest healthcare university of Pakistan which constitutes of 5 different medical colleges and Civil Hospital for house officers.

He added that Dow Medical College has been established for 75 years, it was built and inaugurated by Sir Hugh Dow; you are lucky that you are a part of the best university of Pakistan in terms of healthcare sector. Addressing the students, he said that you will be encouraged at every opportunity, so that you can become a great medical professional. He added that it is our priority to build strong links between students, parents and the university, in case of any complaint you can contact the Principal Office directly. He expressed his best wishes to the students on this occasion and wished them success in the future.
