Ordinances issuance insult to parliament: NP chief.

QUETTA -- National Party (NP) president Dr Abdul Malik Baloch on Wednesday said the federal government has been insulting the parliament by doing legislation through ordinances.

Speaking at a function held to celebrate 100th anniversary of Baloch Nationalist Political Movement, he said the government had been creating political instability by victimising members of opposition parties.

He said wrong policies of the federal government had paralysed the parliament and strengthened anti-democratic forces.

'Interference in the affairs of political parties by certain forces is weakening democracy and the people are worried about the future of democracy in the country.' Dr Baloch said.

He slammed the government over arresting opposition leaders in fake cases in the name of accountability.
