Opposition requisitions Senate session.

ISLAMABAD -- The opposition on Tuesday requisitioned a Senate session to discuss the government's future strategy on Kashmir and current political situation in the country with reference to the government's recent actions against members of the opposition parties.

The notice has been submitted to the Senate Secretariat by the opposition members since the government has not convened the session of the upper house of parliament for almost two months. The last sitting of the Senate was held on Sept 3.
