Opposition parties' workers protest inflation.

TIMERGARA -- Workers of opposition parties on Monday held a protest rally at Talash Bazaar against the government's failure to control price hike in the country.

The workers led by the JUI-F local leadership gathered in the main bazaar and chanted slogans against the government. The protesters were holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans highlighting unemployment, price hike and imposition of taxes.

The rally was addressed by JUI-F district emir Sirajuddin, Qazi Ayazuddin, Maulana Nabi Shah, PML-N's Inayat ur Rehman, Maulana Amin ul Haq and others.

They said the PTI government had failed on all fronts and added that price hike had broken the back of the poor. They complained that power consumers were being looted in the name of fuel price adjustment in the power bills. They said illegal taxes had been imposed on citizens.

The speakers demanded of the prime minister to step down and announce fresh elections in the country.
