Opposition criticizes govt policies in the post budget speech.

Islamabad -- Opposition parties' members in the National Assembly have strongly criticized the government police and held it responsible for the prevailing economic situation in the country.

They were speaking to a National Assembly post budget session on Thursday.

PPP Syed Naveed Qamar pointed out that the Parliament session doesn't complete until all members of parliament are present on the floor.

Naveed Qamar PPP senior leader Khursheed Shah is behind bars since long but the government could not file a reference against him. He said it is the point of concern for all of us, if we are unable to voice concern for a senior leader what we will do for the public.

The inflation rate has climbed up to 11 percent in the past two years, which was earlier only 3.5 percent, the PPP leader deplored on the Parliament floor.
