Opera performance held to raise funds for flood victims.

ISLAMABAD -- Serena Hotels hosted a fundraising opera performance in collaboration with the Italian Embassy on Saturday.

A press release issued by the Serena Hotels, said the talented and world-renowned performing artist Rame Lahaj, who was accompanied by Matteo Pais, gave outstanding performances, and engaged the audience with his well-known pieces. He has performed in prestigious opera houses of the world.

Among his most notable roles were Alfredo (La Traviata), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto) and Rodoldo (La Boheme). Rame Lahaj was the first artist from Kosovo and had won the most prestigious and important prize 'Operalia' in 2016, for his extraordinary performances. He was accompanied by Repetiteur who was the Artistic Coordinator at Arturo Toscanini Foundation in Parma and was a vocal coach and honored pianist who was well known for his international masterclasses to upcoming young artists.
