One rural health centre staffer arrested for filming patient.

RAWALPINDI -- One of the employees of the Bagga Sheikhan Rural Health Centre has been arrested for physically assaulting and filming a patient in a bathroom at the centre on Saturday.

Earlier an FIR was registered against two staffers.

Police said the prime suspect involved in filming the woman has been arrested.

An investigation led by Saddar Superintendent of Police Mazhar Iqbal is ongoing.

The incident emerged after a woman visiting the health centre was asked by two staffers, one of whom is the main suspect in the case and a woman, to use a bathroom for a urine test.

When she entered the bathroom she noticed a blinking light from a mobile phone affixed inside a cavity. She picked up the phone and realised that it was switched on and filming.

The woman's father said in the FIR that the health centre staff argued with his daughter when she asked who had affixed the camera phone in the bathroom. He told police that she was walking home with the phone in question when the main suspect and two other individuals began chasing her.
