One injured in hand grenade attack in Chaman.

QUETTA -- One man was injured in a hand grenade attack in Chaman on Monday, police officials said.

The attack took place near irrigation department's office in the Railway Crossing Gate area.

The police said unidentified attackers riding a motorcycle hurled the grenade, destroying two vehicles and damaging window panes and doors of the building.

The injured was moved to Civil Hospital. Later, the police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation. However, no arrest was reported.
