LAHORE -- Chestnut colt One Four Seven was given a perfect ride by jockey Tahir Abbas before winning the feature event during the Lahore Summer Meeting at the Racecourse here on Sunday.

The Syed Aamir Raza Shah-owned colt, who is trained by A.B. Malik beat favourite dark-bay colt, Four Char Hai by about two lengths in the ,Kaghan Plate for Class VII Division I and II horses run over 1,100 metres to make it two wins on the trot.

Bay mare Abdullah Princess finished third by one and-a-half lengths with bay filly Dream Secret a close fourth.

Nine runners took part in the race after the last-minute withdrawal of Prince of Lion and Open Challenge from the race.

A race earlier, long shot chestnut mare Candle lit the victory candle by landing the supporting event run over 1,100 metres in a beautiful front-running style to cause the major upset of the day. She beat bay colt Qalandra by about two lengths easily.

Bay filly Minding and bay mare Rashk-e-Qamar completed the frame. The 30 to 100 favourite bay colt Picture Perfect ran in an imperfect way true to the general reputation enjoyed by her stable of never winning as favourite. It was not immediately known what action stewards took after they reviewed her winning in the video.

However, four-year-old chestnut filly Tiffany's, who landed her maiden success at the course in the fifth race was the most impressive winner of the afternoon racing.
