One dies, three injured in fog-related incident.

SHEIKHUPURA -- A man died and three others were injured in an accident caused by thick fog on Sunday.

Three labourers were going to their workplace on a motorcycle-rickshaw on the Lahore road. As they reached near the Qila Sattar Shah, a passenger bus came from behind.

The bus driver could not see the motorcycle-rickshaw due to dense fog and hit it. As a result of the accident, a labourer, identified as Mehboob, died instantly while two others and the motorcycle-rickshaw's driver were injured.

Factory Area police are looking into the matter.

SHOT DEAD: A housewife was shot dead in a street in front of her house in Ferozewala.

The victim was identified as Rukhsana, wife of Ishfaq. Her husband told police that he had gone to work on night duty. When he returned home on Sunday morning, he found Rukhsana shot dead in front of their house.

Ferozewala police launched an investigation to know whether the woman was killed during robbery or over an old enmity.

In another incident, a 22-old-girl allegedly committed suicide at Muridke.
