Ogra recommends up to Rs5 per litre cut in POL prices.

ISLAMABAD -- Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has recommended up to Rs 5 per litre decrease in the prices of various POL products for the first fortnightly of September (Sept 1 to 15). In its summary moved to petroleum division, Ogra has recommended decrease in the prices of all major petroleum products including petrol, high speed diesel (HSD), kerosene oil (SKO) and light diesel oil (LDO).Ogra has recommended a decrease of Rs 3.5 per litre in petrol, Rs 5 in HSD, Rs 3 in Kerosene Oil and Rs 2 in the price of LDO. The government will today (Tuesday) announce the decision regarding POL prices after the approval of the prime minister.
