S.nyam-ochir Takes Gold At World Masters in Russia

Mongolian judoka and London Olympic bronze medalist S.Nyam-Ochir won the gold medal in the men’s 73-kg weight class at the World Masters judo tournament on Saturday, the first day of the competition. Another Mongolian judoka Kh.Tsagaanbaatar competed in the same weight class and took bronze.

The two judokas were matched against each other in the semifinal where S.Nyam-Ochir beat his countryman Kh.Tsagaanbaatar.

S.Nyam-Ochir beat Dutch judoka Dex Elmont in the final. These two have wrestled in the London Olympics in the bronze medal bout.
