Notices issued to owners of four 'illegal housing schemes' for advertising plots.

RAWALPINDI -- Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Tuesday issued notices to the owners of four unapproved private housing schemes for advertising their plots.

These housing schemes are Capital Orchard at Chakri Road, Prime Valley at Chakri Road, Arizon City near Chakri Interchange and City Housing at Rawat Rawalpindi, an RDA spokesman said.

He said that RDA Director General Saif Anwar Jappa has taken notice and warned the public to avoid investing in illegal housing schemes. He said action will be taken against illegal advertisements and marketing and first information reports (FIRs) will also be filed against the owners of these four illegal housing schemes.

He said that the Planning Wing of RDA was submitting applications to the police stations concerned to register FIRs against the housing schemes. He said that the owners and sponsors of illegal housing schemes are misleading the public through advertisements.
