Not the time to stay relax, representing Pakistan is utmost priority in tough times: Fawad Alam.

WORCHESTERSHIRE -- Pakistan batsman Fawad Alam has stated that duty to represent Pakistan always comes first as we thrive to play at any given situation and it is not the time to stay relax.

The 34-year-old, while talking in an interview released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said that desire to play for the national team always remains on top.

'Obviously we are missing our family during these unprecedented times but still playing for the country is the utmost priority. As a player, we thrive to play and once the chance comes, it is not the time to stay relax,' said Fawad.

The left-hander is excited to be back in the Test squad after 10 years on an international tour. 'The excitement of wearing the Pakistan star logo is something that is unique. It's a proud feeling to wear Pakistan colors as all of the club and First-class cricket you play is for the reason of playing for your nation,' he added.
