Not moving to D-Chowk part of strategy: marchers.

ISLAMABAD -- JUI protesters camped on Kashmir Highway at H-9 and G-9 on Monday said their chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman's decision not to march towards D-Chowk was part of a well thought-out strategy.

Talking to Dawn, they said they were not disappointed over their leader's decision. They said they had full faith in their leader who was master in taking wise decisions.

The charged and well-organised protesters said they can sit for an indefinite period of time in Islamabad.

'If Maulana asks us to move towards D-Chowk, no one can stop us; we are here to follow the directions of our leader,' said Nazir Mohammad Tauheedi from Khuzdar, Balochistan.

He said people from all parts of the country were part of the Azadi March and ready to follow the directions of their leader.

Say they have full confidence in their leader

Another protester, Yasir Khoso from Sindh, said his party head had been taking decisions with a strategy without involvement of emotion.

'For achieving big goals, you have to move with a strategy and this is what Maulana sahib is doing,' he said.

Another participant, Fazlur Rehman Khan, said the protesters had acclimatised in Islamabad and could stage a sit-in for a long period of time.

'We know our leader is moving forward with a strategy and so far he remains successful in his plan.
