Not an excuse but Galle pitch really isn't easy to bowl on,: says Naseem Shah.

GALLE -- Young pacer Naseem Shah found it really difficult to bowl on slow wicket here in second Test against Sri Lanka.

Naseem, who took two wickets on day 3 of the second Test, told reporters that it wasn't easy for pacers to bowl in the given conditions.

"It's not an excuse but bowling on this pitch is really not easy for pacers," said Naseem after day 3 ended.

"There is no favour for pacers on this pitch. But as professionals, you have to be prepared for it. I tried to bowl on good line and lengths to at least concede less runs," the 19-years-old added.

Naseem has high hopes that his team will get Sri Lanka bowl out earlier tomorrow. "Our target is to restrict them to 350-360 runs (lead) and then go for chase like we did in first Test. If you see, our first innings batting in previous Test was also not too good...
