North Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs Visits Mongolia

North Korea's Minister of Foreign Affairs Ri Yong-ho paid an official visit to Mongolia from December 8 to 9 to strengthen bilateral relations.

Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar held talks with Minister Yong-ho on December 8 to exchange views on future relations and cooperation between the two nations, and mutual cooperation in regional and global arenas.

After the talks took place, the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that D.Tsogtbaatar held a productive meeting with Yong-ho.

During their meeting, Yong-ho pointed out that the main focus of his visit is to review the implementations of plans which were scheduled by the two countries for the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and North Korea, which falls this year.
