No Second Super Over in LPL.

KARACHI -- There won't be a Second Super Over in the Lanka Premier League (LPL), according to Farveez Maharoof, the former cricketer and the media official of the Kandy Tuskers team.

The first match between the Colombo Kings and Kandy Tuskers in the Lanka Premier League (LPL) at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota ended in a Tie and Colombo Kings won the one-over eliminator.

The Playing Conditions allowed the Second Super Over in the IPL.

It was not only IPL but T20 cricket's first-ever twin Super Over encounter.

"In the ongoing LPL, will not have a Second Super Over.

If there's a tie after the first Super Over, the team scoring maximum boundaries (fours and sixes) will be the winner.
