No progress about missing persons: Same reports are being brought to court: SHC.

KARACHI -- Sindh High Court (SHC) on Wednesday sought a report from Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh and Secretary of Interior Ministry pertaining to over 100 missing persons. A two-member bench of SHC, headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulputo, heard a set of petitions filed by families of more than 100 missing persons for their safe recovery. The families of missing persons were crying before the bench for the recovery of their beloved ones. A mother of missing man, Jameel, stated before the bench that policemen Jan Mohammad and Raja Tariq were involved in the disappearance of her son.

''Both policemen demanded Rs 50,000 for the recovery of her son,'' she told the bench. The bench directed Karachi police chief to conduct an investigation into both policemen. Wife of another missing citizen stated by crying before the bench: '' Third Eid has come, but my husband could not...
