No new uplift project announced during CM's Karak visit: MPA.

KARAK -- JUI-F MPA Mian Nisar Gul Kakakhel has claimed that Chief Minister Mahmood Khan approved no new project and inaugurated the already announced schemes during his recent visit to the Karak district.

Talking to mediapersons here the other day, he also blasted the CM for not inviting the local elected representatives to the inauguration ceremonies which was against the parliamentary norms.

Mr Kakakhel, who is also chairman of a jirga comprising lawmakers of the Kohat division, said the chief minister inaugurated the Makh Banda dam, which was approved by the petroleum standing committee chairman Shamim Afridi.

He added the Banda-Gurguri Road was approved after the jirga protested in June last year, saying the Ghar Kalay-Shuhda Road had been announced by Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa during his visit to the district to meet the parents of the three martyred army personnel.
