No headway in public transport deadlock.

BAHAWALPUR -- The private transport operators continued their strike for the third consecutive day against the government SOPs.

The private transport owners had refused on Monday to comply with the government's SOPs and resume the inter-city services due to which the passengers were left in the lurch.

They demanded that the officials reviewed the SOPs and refused to reduce the number of passengers. They also sought exemption from certain taxes for one year and expressed their willingness to negotiate with the transport authorities.
