No development works at education works division due to chief engineer and XEN from same family.

HYDERABAD -- Development works at Hyderabad education works division have come to standstill which has deprived the general public of infrastructure already in doldrums. Chief Engineer is Nizam Shaikh and executive engineer of education works division Hyderabad is his close relative as such both have been misusing their authority at cost of general public. Inefficiency of this executive engineer can best be proved that last year he failed to utilize an amount of Rs.70 million earmarked in budget for development works of education department only for reason that he had demanded more kickbacks and commission that usual which contractors were not ready to pay.

It is amazing that the XEN was still occupying same seat for the only reason of belonging to same family as of chief engineer. The works not carried out include those which were categorized on top priority basis. As usual 6 percent commission was taken on work orders...
