No-confidence motion was changing color like a chameleon: Liaqat Baloch.

LAHORE -- Deputy Chief of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and former parliamentary leader Liaqat Baloch said that Prime Minister Imran Khan announced reduction in petrol and electricity prices. First, the prices were increased and the pockets of the people were plundered. If increase was inevitable, then how will the gap in government revenue be bridged after reduction? The government is under pressure. It took anti-people action under the pressure of the IMF. While, now there is pressure from long marches, public protests, sit-ins and public reaction, the government takes U-turn. The country and the people are in deficit due to ad hocism, incompetence and mismanagement. The announcement of price reduction is a drama to avoid public reaction. The government should compensate for the loss of the people due to the increase in prices.

Liaqat Baloch said that the government is not tolerant of consultation with stakeholders for legislation, national security policy, social, administrative and electoral reforms.
