No compromise on uplift agenda: CM.

PESHAWAR -- Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said here on Thursday that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government had not compromised on its development agenda despite stoppage of funds by the federal government.

Speaking during oath-taking ceremonies of the newly-elected cabinet members of Swat and Nowshera press clubs held at the CM House, he also said that the national economy was on the verge of default and now in a failed attempt to resuscitate the economy the federal cabinet was looking towards charities.

The chief minister termed the indifferent attitude of the federal cabinet towards KP unethical and condemnable.

He stated that the PTI's provincial government had gone beyond its capacity and resources for the establishment of transparent governance, improvement of public sector institutions and public welfare in accordance with the party manifesto.

Mahmood Khan said that under a uniform development strategy, every possible effort had been made to ensure the welfare of all sectors of society.
