Nine more police officers transferred.

LAHORE -- The Punjab government has transferred and posted nine more police officers including the district police officer of Sheikhupura.

Sheikhupura DPO Ghulam Mubashir Maken has been transferred and posted AIG Inspections at Central Police Office, Lahore vice Hassan Asad Alvi who has been posted SSP Police School of Intelligence, Lahore against an existing vacancy.

It is said that Mr Maken had requested the IGP for his transfer from the district due to 'personal reasons'. He served the Sheikhupura district police as head for eight months or so. Sheikhupura SP Investigation Asif Amin Awan has been assigned the additional charge to look after the work of the post of DPO till the posting of regular incumbent.
