Nickelodeon's Legends of the Hidden Temple is returning in 2020.

Nickelodeon's iconic '90s action-adventure TV game show Legends of the Hidden Temple is back - with a twist.

The show's reboot is geared towards adults - who grew up watching the show during its three-season run from 1993-1995 and subsequent reruns in the early 2000s - and will preserve many features of the original such as the Moat Crossing in the initial stage, Olmec and the Temple Run.

The show's original premise? Six teams of two children (one boy and one girl) competed to retrieve one of the historical artifacts from inside a 'Mayan temple' by performing physical stunts and answering questions based on history, mythology and geography, while guided by a host.
