NHMP holds ceremony on occasion of 'Youm-e-Shuhada').

ISLAMABAD -- A ceremony on the occasion of 'Youm-e-Shuhada' was arranged by the National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) here on Thursday.

Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Communications Shahida Akhtar was the chief guest.

She was welcomed by Inspector General Khalid Mehmood before she addressed the families of the martyred, and distributed rewards to the best performing officers of NHMP.

In her address, the Parliamentary Secretary recognized the sacrifices of 45 martyred NHMP officials who sacrificed their life in the line of duty.
