NHA asked to remove rocks along Dir road.

LOWER DIR -- The residents of Danwa area, including transporters, have demanded of the National Highway Authority to remove heavy rocks lying along the Timergara-Chitral Road in Ashari Gat area, which posed serious threats to motorists.

Talking to journalists on Monday, they said the rocks had also choked drains, obstructing flow of water. They pointed out that several incidents had occurred in the past, claiming lives.

PROJECTS: Special assistant to chief minister on prisons MPA Malik Shafiullah Khan has said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government will initiate mega development projects in Dir.

He was addressing a party function held in Danwa area the other day.
