New inflation hike described as dropping of another bomb on poor.

KARACHI -- Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that a further rise of more than nine per cent in the prices of daily commodities in the last one week is tantamount to dropping an atomic bomb on the poor under the burden of inflation. This he said in a statement issued here on Saturday. He said that according to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, prices of 25 daily commodities had risen more than nine percent sharply in the past one week, including eggs, chicken,
