NEPRA approves Rs.2.86 increase in electricity price.

ISLAMABAD -- National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved 2.86 per unite increase on electricity price on Wednesday.

This increase took place for fuel adjustment of March which will add 28.9 billion in consumers' burden.

In detail decision NEPRA told that less amount of electricity was produced from indigenous coal, LNG and gas and due to irregularities in merit order this burden increased.
