NDMA discusses monsoon response with stakeholders.

ISLAMABAD -- National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) chairman Lt Gen Akhtar Nawaz has called upon all the stakeholders to ensure necessary preparedness, including mitigation and response measures at various levels.

He was chairing the third National Monsoon Preparedness Review Conference 2022 held here under the aegis of NDMA on Friday.

The NDMA chief underscored the climate change impacts, vulnerability of Pakistan to various disasters with focus on monsoon and floods and need for preparedness and coordination among all stakeholders.
