NCOC issues guidelines for Christmas to prevent spread of coronavirus.

ISLAMABAD -- National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) has issued guidelines for mitigation of spread of person-to-person transmission of COVID-19 during occasion of Christmas. NCOC has advised Public to undertake minimal necessary travel during Christmas holidays as Pakistan has already been struck by second wave.

According to the guidelines issued by the NCOC it has been advised to avoid social visits during Christmas and general family get together. Christmas shopping should only be restricted to minimal essentials and crowding in markets is not advisable.

NCOC has warned that the traditional gift exchange is likely to increase transmission, so it should be avoided for this Christmas and large scale home gatherings should be avoided amid Covid-19 second wave.
