THE main and service roads in the vicinity of KDA Chowrangi Nazimabad are in a pathetic state because of the construction work which is progressing at a snail's pace on the metro bus project.

What was once a four-lane road with a wide service lane has turned into patches of a dirt track with large potholes.

It is nerve wracking to travel on this almost three-kilometre stretch, especially for citizens travelling in rickshaws or small cars. Even the SUVs find the drive on this patch a test for their vehicle. Citizens who have no alternative except commute...
