Nawaz Sharif's platelets drop again: ex-PM's personal physician.

LAHORE -- According to former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif's personal physician Dr. Adnan Khan, his health remains critical as former premier's platelets have dropped again.

Dr. Adnan took to twitter share that Nawaz Sharif's Platelet count remains below acceptable cut-off line.

'Former PM #NawazSharif's Platelet count remain below acceptable cut-off line (30*10^3/uL yesterday), thereby it's unsafe to introduce DAPT (blood thinner medicines) to minimise threat of a Cardiac event and/or Stroke,' Dr. Adnan shared.

He added that Nawaz Sharif's Platelet count is declining again and he needs further clinical check-up.

'His Platelets count is again on the decline. The underlying cause and a definitive diagnosis is unestablished requiring further extensive clinical work-up without delay,' the personal physician said. The risk of spontaneous bleeding still remains.
