(NATIONAL / CITY) ECP announces by-elections on nine NA seats on Sept 25.
ISLAMABAD -- The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Friday issued a schedule for by-elections on the seats that fell vacant following the acceptance of resignations of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNAs by National Assembly (NA) Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
According to the schedule released by the ECP, by-elections on nine seats of the National Assembly will be held on September 25 next. The candidates will be able to submit nomination papers from August 10 to 13 while the scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on August 17.
