Federal Tax Ombudsman has appointed Ms. Naima Ansari, President, Islamabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IWCCI) as Honorary Coordinator (Business Liaison) to FTO Secretariat. The decision was taken keeping in view the services of Ms Ansari for the business community and her keen interest in promoting the women entrepreneurs.

A notification has been issued by the FTO Secretariat has been issued which says that the coordinator will be responsible for liaison with local chambers, trade associations, market associations, general trade bodies and other business related organizations. The coordinator will also liaison with taxpayers and present problems faced by taxpayers, their issues, conflicts and concerns with special focus on businesswomen facing issues with FBR.

The Coordinator will act proactively for immediate redressed of grievances, search for methods to improve efficiency and integrity of the tax machinery, the notification said. The coordinator will foster relationship of FTO office with the business...
