Nadir Gabol's bail confirmed.

KARACHI -- A sessions court on Tuesday confirmed the interim pre-arrest bail of Nadir Gabol, son of Pakistan Peoples Party leader Nabil Gabol, in a case of injuring a lawyer by reckless driving.

Police had booked Mr Gabol for hitting and injuring 31-year-old motorcyclist Haroon Khalid in DHA Phase-VIII on April 3.

Last week, the suspect was granted interim bail by the additional district and sessions judge (South) against a surety of Rs20,000 with the direction to cooperate with the police in the investigation.

On Tuesday, Mr Gabol and complainant Haroon Khalid appeared before the court. The suspect's defence counsel, Liaquat Ali Khan, moved an application contending that the applicant and the complainant had reached a compromise on the matter.

Therefore, he pleaded to the court to confirm the suspect's interim bail arguing that the complainant had no objection if the bail confirmation plea was allowed.
