NAB told to inform MNA about his arrest warrants.

LAHORE -- The Lahore High Court on Thursday directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to provide 10 days to PML-N MNA Javed Latif to approach a legal forum if his arrest warrants were issued.

A two-judge bench headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi passed the order on the petition by Latif challenging call-up notices by the NAB on an inquiry into assets owned by him and his other family members.

His counsel argued before the bench that all the properties of the petitioner being probed into by the NAB had already been cleared by Anti-Corruption Establishment after a detailed inquiry. He said the investigation launched by the bureau was unlawful, unjustified and a political victimisation.
