NAB's conviction ratio is about 70 per cent: Javed Iqbal.

ISLAMABAD -- Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (retd) Javed Iqbal has said that NAB strongly believes in zero corruption hundred per cent development. He said that NAB has devised a proactive and comprehensive National Anti-Corruption Strategy.

Chairman NAB made these views while chairing a meeting to review the performance of all wings of NAB Headquarters here on Monday.

He said that the feedback received about the initiatives taken by the present management of NAB is very encouraging as today NAB's conviction ratio is about 70 per cent which is a remarkable achievement in the investigation of white-collar crime cases. NAB has not only established state of the art Forensic Science LAB for investigations of all cases of white-collar crime by using state of the art modem technology/techniques.

He said that through detailed introspection and analysis of organizational overall of procedures/processes, all pillars of the organization i.e. Operations, Prosecution, Training and Research, Human Resource Development and Awareness and Prevention Divisions have been reactivated.
