NAB files over Rs230mln reference against Khursheed Shah.

SUKKUR -- The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed a reference amounting to over Rs230 million against senior PPP leader Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah.

As many as 18 people have been nominated in the reference filed in the accountability court.

The nominated people include Khursheed Shah, his wives Bibi Talat and Bibi Gulnaz, sons Furrukh Shah and Zeerak Shah and nephew and Sindh Minister Awais Qadir Shah. The reference includes 600 acres of agricultural land, accounts and plots and Karachi and Sukkur.

On December 18, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) challenged the order of the accountability court to Khursheed Shah in the Sindh High Court (SHC).

In the petition, the NAB contended that the order to release Khursheed Shah is against the law and hence should be declared null and void.
