NAB court approves 13-day physical remand of Ahsan Iqbal (Updated).

ISLAMABAD -- Accountability court on Tuesday has approved 13-day physical remand of former federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal in Narowal sports city case.

During the hearing headed by judge Muhammad Bashir, the officials of anti-corruption watchdog requested to grant Ahsan Iqbal's physical remand.

The court, while approving the physical remand, directed to re-produce the PML-N leader on January 6. On Monday, NAB had arrested Ahsan Iqbal over his involvement in embezzlement of Narowal sports city project funds.
